Frederic Remington Wooly Chaps, is a variation of his most famous sculpture, The Bronco Buster. The difference in the two sculptures is only in the texture of the leggings worn by the cowboy. The sculpture is cast in the incredible detail that is a Remington hallmark and in the traditional Lost Wax Process with magnificent patina finish that is hand-applied for highlights that create natural variations in texture and color. The sculpture is then hand-rubbed to bring out the antiquate detail and highlights. The cast is pure bronze mounted on a marble base with an etched brass plate. Size: 8"L x 3"W x 9"H. Weight is: 5Lb
